How to delete your account and your data

You can ask us to delete your PeluChef account and all the personal data tied to it at any time, no reason needed.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email, !username, profile photo, bio, and signature.
- The photos you uploaded to your own recipes.
- Your followers and the accounts you follow (you unfollow everyone, and everyone unfollows you).
- Other users' recipes you were watching, and anything other users are watching of yours.
- Your shopping list, your list preferences, your Meal Prep, and any Instagram/TikTok import you had pending confirmation or dismissal.
- Your blocks, in either direction.
The text of your own recipes (title, ingredients, steps) may be kept on our server disconnected from your identity — without your name, your !username, or any associated photo — so the service keeps running normally. Once your account is deleted, that content is never shown to anyone again and is no longer associated with you in any way.
If you sign in again with that same Google account after being deleted, a brand-new, completely empty account is created.
Delete it right now
It's 100% self-service, no one on our end needs to step in — pick whichever option is handiest:
- From the app: Settings → "Delete my account," confirm twice, and it's applied instantly.
- From right here, no app install needed: sign in below with the same Google account you use in PeluChef. Before deleting anything, we show you which account it is, so you can confirm.
You're about to permanently delete the account : your profile, your photos, your followers, and everything you have saved or watched from other accounts. Your followers will stop seeing you. This cannot be undone.
